Your heart rate is the number of times your heart beats per minute. A normal resting heart rate for adults is 50-100 bpm. Your heart rate is an important indicator of cardiovascular health as the heart helps circulate blood around your body, providing it with oxygen and nutrients. Heart rates can vary with age, gender and other physiological factors. Generally, the younger you are, the higher your heart rate. Women tend to have a higher heart rate than men of the same age. Your heart rate is usually lower when you are asleep, and varies according to workout intensity.
How measurement works
Your blood circulation changes periodically with the rhythm of your heartbeat. Blood absorbs light. When your heart beats, more blood is pumped into your blood vessels and more light is absorbed. Less light is absorbed during the interval between two successive heartbeats. Using the screen light as a light source, your real-time heart rate is calculated based on these periodic changes in light absorption collected via the fingerprint scanner,
Data storage
"Heart rate measurement" is currently a function of the beta version in realme Lab. Your heart rate data will only be stored locally on your device and cannot be synced to the cloud. If you delete local files or clear your phone data, you will not be able to recover your heart rate data.
