Initially introduced in the United States, this feature has now been extended to India and Japan, with users having the option to opt in. The component supports local languages in Japan, while in India, it's available in English and Hindi.

It's important to note that Google's search feature primarily serves the purpose of information retrieval, such as helping users find products to buy. This feature differs from Google's chatbot Bard, which can engage in human-like conversations and generate software code.
Google has been intensifying its efforts, partly in response to the buzz created by ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI with the support of Microsoft, which garnered significant attention last year.
This announcement was made during the Google Next conference held in San Francisco. Alongside this news, Google unveiled additional advancements, including a new iteration of its proprietary AI chips. Moreover, the company introduced a tool designed for watermarking and identifying images produced by AI.
Among Google's novel tools is "Duet AI in Workspace," a feature aimed at aiding users across various applications. It assists in tasks such as writing in Docs, composing emails in Gmail, and generating customized visuals in Slides, among other functions.
