Oppo has officially confirmed that its smartphones are eligible for the Android 14 beta program, with plans to release the ColorOS 14 update. Simultaneously, Google has initiated two beta programs for the Android 14 update, prompting other companies to integrate it with their interfaces. Google is expected to release Android 14 to the public, possibly later this month.

As per @ecnoword, currently, Oppo has launched its ColorOS 14, based on the Android 14 closed beta program, for select devices like the Oppo Find X6 Pro and Oppo Find N2. However, the company provided a limited window to join this program.

This beta update addresses various bugs and known issues from the previous version, enhancing device stability and reliability. It also enables users to quickly and seamlessly back up their handsets even before submitting apps.

How To join the ColorOS 14 (Android 14) Beta Program:

  • Open the Settings App.
  • Scroll down and select "About Device."
  • Click on "Version Details."
  • Tap "Check for Update."
  • Apply for the beta program.
  • The brand will promptly select users and deliver the latest update.

Known Issues:

  • While this update is in the development stage, there are several known issues:
  • WeChat-related problems affecting user experience.
  • Fingerprint unlocking issues.
  • Possibility of a black screen when receiving incoming calls on a locked phone.
