Google Messages app brings camera shortcut to quickly take and send photos

SMS and MMS are making a comeback once again through the Google Messages app. Google has released a new update for its message app. After this update, the home screen of the Messages app is being given a new look.


After this update, a camera shortcut has been added to the Google Messages app. To improve the experience of users, the company has released camera shortcuts. After this update, users will be shown a total of three icons on the right side of the app bar, which are the camera icon, magnifying lens, and profile icon.

After the update, a clean UI of this app will be introduced. To use the camera feature, it will open the default application of the user's phone. This feature may prove useful for some users. After this update, only three buttons will be present in the app bar which gives a clean UI feel.
